Bravo, "Team Jinja Central" - and one certainly hopes that those at Nabuur HQ, overseeing the revamping of www.nabuur.com, have noticed, the number of successes, which you two have managed to chalk up, thus far! In my humble opinion, the dynamism of your partnership, Paul and Pelle, should serve as the working model, for choosing www.nabuur.com village projects! Clearly, www.nabuur.com village projects, stand a better chance of success, if both local representatives and online facilitators, share many of the characteristics and character traits, of both of you, "Team Jinja". Nabuur HQ really ought to take this point on board, going forward. Jinja Central has also been such a success, because of Paul's transparent nature - we are kept informed of every development that takes place, on the ground in Jinja: without prompting from any quarter. Nothing puts off the dedicated online neighbour, more than local representatives, who aren't forthcoming - and have to be constantly prodded, to divulge information, of activities on the ground. It certainly does put off old foggies like the cranky Kofi Thompsons of this world! :) And for a committed pan-Africanist like Kofi Thompson, the fact that Paul treats all the online neighbours: black; brown; and white equally, and with respect, makes a huge difference to my continued participation in the project! And he is also courteous enough to respond to every single posting, by all the online neighbours (black, white and brown!), who take the trouble, to post messages - and for anyone as old-fashioned as Kofi Thompson, dealing with such a well-mannered individual, is a real pleasure, too: and an added bonus! Pelle has been incredibly proactive, as a facilitator - infecting us all with his enthusiastic commitment to the project: and driving the project and keeping it focused, with a great deal of charm and tact. Our Pelle, is certainly one of the most inspiring, of www.nabuur.com's online facilitators - and I am sure that every single online Jinja Central neighbour, will concur to that, too!
