Write Content for the Education Concern Center Website

Step:
1

Alicia, a volunteer from the United States, is in Nepal for the next 6 months to work with Min. She has created a website located here:

http://eccnepal.wordpress.com/

For this task, we are looking for volunteers to help Alicia by writing content that can be transferred onto the website. She already has some thought starters listed.

If you have specific questions about the Education Concern Center to help you with this task, those can be posted here so we can provide necessary clarification.

Research the Internet for Places to Link or Post Information about SESF

Step:
2

There are many avenues to market any organization via the Internet these days. Do you know of a good place to establish a linkage or post information about the Sankhuwasabha Education Scholarship Foundation (SESF)? Tell us about it!

We want to focus on simple things we can all do to help, for example, like creating a link between the village here at Nabuur and your Facebook page so your friends can learn more about the organization. Social bookmarking, again so that the people you know can see what a great organization this is and then in turn tell someone else.

Review Website, Edit and Make Suggestions

Step:
2

Tejanath has included information about SESF and child sponsorship on the new website www.Sankhuwasabha.com. Please review the information currently posted there and make suggestions for information to add or any edits that might be needed so that this can also be an effective marketing tool for SESF.

Update the SESF Blog

Step:
2

Many months ago, a blog was created to establish an Internet presence for the Sankhuwasabha Education Scholarship Foundation (SESF). Since then, new results have been achieved and the blog has not been updated. While Tejanath has created a place for information about SESF and child sponsorship on the new Sankhuwasabha.com website, this is still the only place on the Internet specifically devoted to SESF.

Create a Facebook Group featuring SESF

Step:
2

There are many Nepali people and others from around the world taking advantage of the social networking site Facebook. We would like to create a group on Facebook that showcases the Sankhuwasabha Education Scholarship Foundation and provides basic information to people who are interested. I believe based on the initial response from the Sankhuwasabha website and my own networking there that this may be one tool to help SESF effectively communicate information about their organization and what they do.

Is there anyone with a Facebook account willing to take on this task?

Create a Website for CBSM

Step:
1

First, we create a website (using the free web editing software weebly.com) that not only offers important information about CBSM, but also builds communication and connection between those of us in CBSM and those living elsewhere.

The information needed on the site (http://benando.weebly.com/) is: our goal, missions, and objectives, and expressing need for sponsorship both financially, as well as through other efforts.

Eventually, we wish to be able to create a professional website. For this purpose we would need outside help.
