Dear all, I just got a message from Santanu, saying his area is flooded. "You might not be knowing that the record flood has washed out almost 50% of the Balasore district.We were without food,water,electricity,telephone,internet for many days.My house was in deep water.It is unbelievable,but fact.Most of my documents,gadgets,commodities has been spoilled.We are recovering slowly.But many people have become foodless,homeless,pennyless and jobless.They are staying on the footpath.Big fear is now from snakebites and infectious diseases and people are already affected with it  and some are dying from it."When I hear from him again, I'll keep you posted. Pelle
