  • Our village KHAPARAPADA lies on the bank of Subarnrekha river which falls into the Bay of Bengal just around after 15km.

  • Khaparapada village was part of the ancient Kalinga State.Kalinga State was annexed by Moghuls in 1568.Then Marahattas occupied this part.The East India ceded this part in 1803.Dutch and Danish settlements were also founded in this region

  • People of my village believes in Love, the God and the joint family system. They work together and live together.

  • Arts and crafts of my village is much influenced by the spiritual practices,tribal culture,farming profession and natural environment.
