Locate 2 personal computers and a printer
Step:
2
The primary school for children who are deaf is in need of 2 personal computers and a printer. For this task, we are looking for a volunteer to help locate a person or organization who can provide one or all of these items and assist with shipping costs to the school location.

Dear Jennifer
Thank you very much for strating the new task for SESF
I hope our neighbours will suggest us.

Tejanath informed me tonight that an organization has donated a personal computer and color television to the school. He will post more details later. We were in the middle of our discussion and the electricty cut out again, so I wasn't able to get all of the details, but this is good news! :)
Apparently another organization has provided 400,000 rupees (around $5,000 USD) to help manage/improve the physical facilities as well.
I believe they still need one more computer and a printer then we can close this task, but need confirmation of that from Tejanath.

Jennifer
Jennifer:
I will be more than happy to help to locate the personal computer and the printer, here from Chicago. I will even contact some of the "big box" stores, (WalMart, Target, etc.) in the United States to see what I can come up with.

Elizabeth
Hi Elizabeth-
Welcome to the Khandbari village! Just a couple things to keep in mind...this school is located in a remote area and transportation is almost always an issue. In addition to locating the items, we will also need to secure transportation and funding for the transportation costs, so the closer we can get them to the location to minimize cost the better.
If you have any other questions about the project, please feel free to ask. We appreciate your efforts to help with this task. Again welcome!
Jennifer
Dear Jennifer and Elizabeth

Tejanath
Tejanath informed me tonight that the school for the deaf recently submitted proposals to the British Gurkha Welfare Society and another organization and were granted assistance for the school. Tejanath assisted them with writing their proposals. Because of the assistance they received, I will be closing these tasks since some of the funding is specifically designated for improvements to the school building and a computer and color television has been donated.
Congratulations to the school and to Tejanath for assisting them with submission of these successful proposals!
