I am sorry to report that I received an email from Tejanath today who reported that the Sapta Koshi river in the Terai region of Nepal broke her embankment and swepted away the surrounding villages. The flooding has killed more than 100 people and nearly 60,000 have are now homeless. The flooding also swept away the optical fiber and disturbed Internet services for the past 8 days.

Truly speaking this khandbari village is usually poor and after this triumph of flood they have been on a miserable state. All the place have been destroyed as very few are rescued and many still stuck in underwater along with their earning sources. Moreover they are the most in need of aid.
