Biography: Hi !

I am Nitin, founder of YUVRAJ, a rural youth organisation working in villages near Vadodara, Gujarat, India.

I have done post-grdution in Physics/Electronics and self-employed in a business which caters to the electronics consulting and product development services.

I founded YUVRAJ to mobilize youth with an aim to carry out development activities like education, social responsibility, local employment and preserving and strengthning moral values in the youth etc..

Some of the project we do perennially:

• Book Bank
Reduce the financial burden on the students of economically weak families.
Books are provided free of cost, whereas notebooks are provided at subsidized prices.

• Scholarships to the students of economically weak families
One more effort to help students for higher studies.

• Recognition of outstanding students.
Motivation.

• Community Awards for Outstanding Achievements.
Awards of Excellence to Outstanding Farmer, Outstanding Young Entrepreneur, Outstanding Innovator, Outstanding Social Worker, Outstanding Teacher.

• Community funded Group marriages for the economically weak families.
Strengthening the social bonding. Six event have been organized till now.

• Debates and Open Discussions
An opportunity for all to speak their mind on the issues relevant to the community.

• Employment Guidance and Support
Counseling to unemployed youth for securing a job or starting own business. Fresh pass-outs are helped to secure an internship/ training position in the field of interest.

• Multi speciality medical Camp
A free medical camp of various disciplines of medicine at village Bhadarwa
was conducted.

• Personlity Development Programs
In association with another well-known youth organization engaged into imparting moral education and training the youth on cultural adaptability, we have planned a series of workshops for youth.

• Mission Green
An integrated ecology protection program (under planning stage) aims to protect the environment with large scale tree plantation, regeneration of negatively affected soil replacing chemical fertilizers and pesticides with vermicompost and other natural/ green inputs.
