Welcome to Koliyounkulam! I am sorry for the late reply- for some reason your message was not flagged as a new one and I did not see it until this morning. Our first goal is to attract traffic to the website. It will be perfect if the stories can be used by the teachers at the evening school, but it is not necessary (the language phrases will be used in the school). Again, the school needs funds now and our first priority is to generate income from advertising on kidedu.org

I will ask the webmaster to set up an editing account for you as soon as possible.

Welcome to Kolyonkulam :)
I would suggest to keep the language simple, but at the same time colorful. The stories will give a good opportunity to the children to expand their English dictionary. And we can always add a short section with the meaning of the new words. I am very excited about the French phrases- I will start taking French in Nov so it will help me too :)

Dear All,

Here is the update from Jegan: Overall the evening school performance is good, all the 42 children are happy and studying hard. Recently 4 students moved to 2 and 1 rank from 4th rank in the school. 3 children who never passed all the subjects did so successfully.

A student, Rajesh, was ranked First in his school in Story writing competition out of 70 children. I feel this is a start and lot of big achievements has to happen in the future.
