Hi everyone-
I am happy to report that I was able to meet with Fred today and 12 of the 26 members of the Community-Based Organization, registered in Uganda at the sub-county level, "Health Ideal Care for Africa" or HICA, for short. They were able to provide some additional information regarding the local community and situation on the ground.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION ON THE PROJECT
The local community was sent the project definition tool "We Can Do" which is attached for your reference. The following are their responses to the questions posed. Please review this information and provide your thoughts and suggestions for how the Kagulu community can best approach the task at hand-improving access to health care in their local community and also work toward their long-term goal of building their own health care center.

Hi everyone-
I hope that you're all enjoying the holidays. I had the opportunity to talk with Fred and some members of HICA this morning. This is a summary of what we discussed:
Community Meeting
Fred reported that members of the community responded very positively to the meeting that was held 2 weeks ago. They told me that the community members promised continuous cooperation, money for them to continue to use the Internet to communicate with us and help with transportation costs.
