This is a great start!
We have a literature review on School Feeding Programs (attached here) that I did a few months ago and incorporates some of the information from the WFP. They provide great information! USAID also has good info.
I'm going to try to open a wiki so that all the links can be put in one place - still have to figure out how to use it...
But as we find more programs that operate in Uganda or information on the costs of a program in Uganda, we can place them in the wiki.

We need some volunteers to gather information on organizations working in Uganda that offer school feeding programs. If anyone has any information or contacts, or would like to gather research on this, please do so!

Christmas Party 2008
Last year the community organized a very successful Christmas party with the support of neighbours from around the world. This year they would like to organize a similar party, but require your assistance again!
If you have ideas, contacts or items to make the party a special day for the children of Kyomya, please post here or contact David. Some ways people helped last year was by raising funds and by donating small gifts for the children.

The following guide provides a general overview of water, sanitation and health. It has good diagrams and information that could be used for workshops or sensitization in the community.

Now that we have a plan for our program and have a list of potential organizations to contact, we need assistance in drafting a letter and submitting to those organizations for funding.
